This hawthorn berry chutney is absolutely delicious, it’s reminiscent of a caramelised onion chutney but instead of using maize starch, apples or pectin to create a luscious thick sauce we use hawthorn berries. It’s the perfect accompaniment to pork, works well with beef and as you would expect with cold meats and cheese.
